Vincent Minifie, CPA is the longest running accounting firm in the Elk Valley. We’ve been there for booms and busts in the mining industry, the slow and steady growth of the ski industry, and the recent explosive growth in destination tourism and we’ve helped our clients navigate it all. Born and raised in Fernie, we’re proud to call ourselves the accounts for many long time locals, as well as new businesses and individuals that hale from as far away as New Zealand and as near as Calgary.

Vincent Minifie
Vince has long been known as the “go to” accountant in the Elk Valley. This summer marked 35 years in business supporting individuals and corporations. How did he celebrate? By doing more accounting of course, a ride on the trails with his sons, and a back yard bar-b-que with Carol, his kids and his 9 grandkids.
With degrees in economics and political science, a professional designation in accounting and an extensive knowledge of the Canadian economy, the Canadian and US Tax System and the local economies Vince loves using his knowledge and experience to serve his clients.

Carol Minifie
Vincent Minifie, CPA is known throughout the Valley for their legendary customer service and attention to detail, and when you walk through the door and work with Carol it’s not hard to see why. Carol has been taking care of clients for over 30 years, and keeping her famous candy jar stocked for almost as long. Clients appreciate her connection and her attention to detail.

Jason Traska
Jason is an encyclopedia of tax knowledge that has been serving and supporting individuals and corporations in the Elk Valley and South Country at Vincent Minifie, CPA since 1994. When Jason isn’t in the office he can be found enjoying the outdoors with his son, or in the arena supporting the Ghostriders Hockey Team, both as a fan and board member.

Debbie Dunnet
Debbie is an accounting whiz that not only supports clients monthly with computerized accounting and bookkeeping, remittances, payroll, and GST but she is also versed in Financial Statement Preparation. You might see Debbie making the trek to work on her bike every morning. When she’s not in the office Debbie enjoys spending time with her family, especially her young grandchildren.
